Robin has worked as a feature writer for The Daily Telegraph and Sunday Express. At The Telegraph he edited special features marking the the 50^th anniversaries of the outbreak of World War 2 and the Battle of Britain. He also worked on the team reporting the Gulf War for The Telegraph.

Published as a part work accompanying The Daily Telegraph, Battle of Britain featured contributions from Europe's leading aviation historians and many previously unpublished pictures from the Bundesarchiv.

Robin has also worked for a wide range of magazines, writing on subjects as diverse as fallen pop idols, sporting heroes and the architectural treasures of London.

Robin has written books and websites for Channel 4 programmes, including many entries in the 'Secret History' and 'Battle Stations' series.
